Press Release Body = 2005 was a year of much devastation. It was the year where we lost prominent icons such as Rosa Parks, Johnny Cochran, and John H. Johnson. Likewise, 2005 was a year filled with turbulent storms and unprecedented wild fires. 2005 was also a year of war and unresolved peace.
With so much turmoil mounting, it was a wonder that any country could see signs of hope or even recovery. Why was there so much destruction brewing? Was this necessary in order to bring attention to the need for change or a greater appreciation for mankind? Perhaps this was simply, for some, just another opportunity for the mass media to be recognized or denounced for their ability or inability to cover the story with accuracy and precision?
Whatever the case in point, 2005 was a year that will definitely be unforgettable. As we look forward to 2006, let us seek to resolve some of the unanswered questions that 2005 left lingering in the wind.
In 2006, let us begin to unravel the mystery that brings peace at a time of war. Let us unravel opportunity instead of opposition. Let us seek to understand rather than unload our solutions before ever understanding the problem. In 2006, let us sing a new melody of peace and practice a new line of integrity.
Integrity is the greatest form of truth. For its truth will resolve problems and rid the world of endless bickering. It will give a method to mission and a passion to purpose. It will open the doors of hatred and conceal it with the ointment of healing.
2006, is a year to build and not battle. It is a year to be appreciative for what you do have. It is an opportunity to make better what has made you bitter. It is a second chance at a life that you once dreamed, but lost desire for. Let this New Year be a year of promise and promotion. Let this New Year be a year of gratitude as well as altitude.
Finally, let this New Year be a year that will allow one the ability to grow, gain, and give. For life is all that you so desire, yet quenched by the fiery darts of one's own poisonous venom. The desire to achieve is lost. However, if we loose the poison without killing the desire, we defeat our greatest enemy. Self!
